In addition to the historical and cultural highlights that you can discover during your yacht charter in Spain, we would also like to introduce and recommend the typical cuisine
Tapas, the little appetizers, are almost a worldwide trademark of Spain. Tapas have their origin in Andalusia and have found their way to all regions of Spain due to their popularity with locals and tourists; nowadays tapas can be found not only in tapas restaurants, but also in many bars as a snack in between. There are tapas of all kinds - from the small filled baguette, salads, delicacies from the grill to cleverly inlaid fish specialties. Of course, the typical aioli, a delicious dip made from garlic and mayonnaise, with fresh baguette, olives and a delicious glass of regional wine, cannot be missing.
But Spains gastronomy has much more to offer than just tapas, so don't miss out on the specialties from the sea in Galicia and enjoy freshly caught mussels and seafood. Try in Valencia together with your family or friends a traditional paella or a tasty fideua, the counterpart to the traditional paella, made with pasta instead of rice.
Discover at the in the Canary Islands their typical "Papas arrugadas con mojo" and a nice piece of "Carne Fiesta", a tasty meat dish with many herbs, accompanied by a good wine.
Stroll through the traditional weekly local markets in the charming villages in Mallorca and taste the local olive oils directly on site, or simply enjoy the hustle and bustle at the market by a cafe con leche and a delicious ensaimada.
