Mallorca & Menorca – A 7 days adventure cruise for the senses

You will marvel at the most beautiful highlights of Mallorca and Menorca during this adventure journey. We leave Palma and sail south along Mallorca’s varied east coast with its Caribbean-like, white beaches and turquoise waters. Then, cruise past pine forests and picturesque fishing villages, to arrive at the second highlight of our cruise – the North coast.

Island Hopping: The second part of our journey takes us to the calm island of Menorca, where we will explore the spectacular bays of the south, undoubtedly of the most beautiful bays in the Mediterranean. Enchanting little villages await us with their culinary highlights of the Mediterranean and countless coves invite you to linger and relax.

Then were headed back from Menorca to Mallorca, along the Tramuntana mountains to Port de Sóller. The last stage of our journey takes us along the southwest coast to the Three Finger Bay by Portals Vells or to Palmanova before heading back to Palma.

Depending on the type of boat, you will be either completely tended to, or you may decide to be an active crew member and not just a guest on board. We sail and cook together, and set the goal for the day, based on wind and weather conditions. Newcomers can also sail on our catamarans and yachts as they are accompanied by an experienced captain.

Itinerary

Generally, a detailed route is not defined from the onset, because wind and weather are the ultimate route planners for a sailor. In slack winds the target seems to move into the distance, while hearty winds hasten the arrival time. In both cases, the day is determined by nature and as a result plans may need to be adjusted. Therefore, every morning before departure, the route is re-discussed as the captain takes the most up-to-date weather forecasts into account. The nights will be spent in secluded coves or in the ports on the coast. The itinerary proposed by us serves as a guide, we are happy to adapt it to your wishes and ideas.

Itinerary

Saturday Palma
From 4 pm onwards we will welcome you on board with a small champagne reception, your skipper will introduce himself and the yacht. We will then leave the port and  spend the night anchoring either in the bay of Palma or Cala Blava where you can enjoy your first evening on board with amazing views of Mallorca.
Sunday Palma – Es Trenc/ Colonya de Sant Jordi
“Setting sails” in the morning according to the skipper’s instructions. We will sail along the rock-lined coves of Cala Blava and Cala Pi to admire the clear turquoise waters, the gently sloping beaches and high rocky cliffs which are covered with pine trees. Enjoy on the way the opportunity to swim, snorkel or just relax while sunbathing. On the spectacular, Caribbean-like beach of Es Trenc, one of the most beautiful in the world, we will anchor to experience the natural beauty of the place and the most beautiful sunset of the island. We will overnight in Es Trenc or Colonya de Sant Jordi.
Monday Es Trenc – Cala D’Or/ Portocolom
Today is the opportunity to make a short trip to the island of Cabrera, one of the last natural paradises in the Mediterranean. Here rocky caves alternate with a breathtaking landscape and more than anything the great vegetation and fauna will simply enchant you. Anyone loving being active, goes ashore and embarks on a short hike. It is worth visiting the blue water cave, the Cova Blava, where its reflections in the water create a true staging of light and colors in all shades of blue, with the unsurpassable Curacao Blue prevailing. We set sail and drive along the east coast of Mallorca, where today’s destination is either the port of Cala D’Or or Portocolom; Both villages have retained much of their original charm as traditional fishing villages.
Tuesday Portocolom – Citutadella/Mahón
A new day, a new adventure! Nature paradise in the Mediterranean has a name: our destination is Menorca. White sandy beaches, palm trees and turquoise waters await us amid a breathtaking scenery. The seabed around Menorca is sandy, giving the water such a turquoise-transparency which gives us the impression that the boat is sailing on air. We jump into the sea, swim, dive, snorkel, kayak or sunbathe on the deck. Depending on the winds, our daily destination is either Mahón or Ciutadella. Small villages with traditional whitewashed cottages are stunning with its winding streets and small boutiques. Visit one of the idyllic fishing villages, eat the best lobster stew at the port of Fornells, hike or experience the island by bike and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
Wednesday Ciutadella – Port Pollensa
The arrival on the largest Balearic island could hardly be more spectacular: Cap Formentor, the northernmost point of Mallorca, is 384 meters high. Entering the bay of Pollensa you will view all the small bays, one more beautiful than the other ragged in string together along the Formentor peninsula. The beautiful old town of Pollensa invites you to discover and stay. Culinary highlights from quaint little tapas bars to Michelin star awarded restaurants, deluxe spa treatments, wineries or discovering the most beautiful bays of the north like Betlem, Coll Baix among others … Everything is possible!
Thursday Port Pollensa – Port Sóller
We will leave Port de Pollesa to  Cap Formentor where we will be able to experience a breathtaking sunrise.  There are many options – one of which is to have breakfast at the Hotel Formentor before we circle the famous cape towards Port Sóller. The hotel enjoys a privileged location tucked away in the natural paradise of the Formentor peninsula, Grace Kelly and Prince Ranier spent their honeymoon here. As we exit the Pollensa Bay we might be accompanied by dolphins. We sail along the Tramuntana Mountains, past Sa Calobra, one of those magical places in Mallorca and film set for Cloud Atlas, where we’ll certainly take a swim break. The cliffs are so beautiful that you can hardly believe it. Todays destination is Port Sóller in the northwest, a picturesque, small coastal town known for its historic train and its orange grooves & valley. As a fishing port, you can enjoy here delicious fish, seafood, paella or tapas. The locally fished “Gambas de Soller” are a speciality and worth trying.
Friday Port Sóller – Palma
We will be leaving the port of Soller after a nice breakfast with fresh pressed orange juice. The southwest of Mallorca captivates by its mountain landscape fading into the sea. You may dive to ship wrecks or the underwater caves by Sant Elm, visit Port Andratx with its chic flair and the bay of Cala Llamp, where you can find everything for a perfect day sea: blue swater, white sandy beach and the Beach Club Gran Folies; go shopping in the exclusive marina of Port Adriano or Portals Nous, visit great beach restaurants in beautiful bays or just enjoy the beautiful coast of Mallorca from the sea with a good meal on board. This part of Mallorca’s coast impresses with its diversity. We will stay overnight at our home port Palma
Saturday Palma
After a last breakfast our trips ends with the check out at 10:00 am the latest.
